Official Cincy Powell ABA Player Tee

DTG-OS9151-1

He's not from here, nor did he play here. However, his name comes from the same Roman senator for which our town was named. Cincinnatus "Cincy" Powell played eight seasons in the American Basketball Association (ABA). After playing college ball at the University of Portland, he went on to play professionally for the Dallas Chaparrals (1967-1970), down the road with the Kentucky Colonels (1970-1972), Utah Stars (1972-1973), and the Virginia Squires (1973-1975). He was named to the ABA All-Star team in 1970 and 1971.
