Moerlein Hidden Mural

4.5

This tee celebrates a true Cincy time capsule. During renovation work in Over-the-Rhine, workers uncovered a century-old encaustic tile mural by famed ceramicist Herman Mueller hidden under layers of paint for over 100 years. The mosaic — originally part of the Christian Moerlein Bottling Department from 1896 — features bold imagery and text that speak to Cincinnati’s booming pre-Prohibition brewing era.

Great design, acceptable shirt quality

I love the design of the previously hidden mural on the Rhinegeist building. But the shirt doesn't match the picture of a tagless "Cincy Shirts" printed shirt - rather it has a Gildan Softstyle tag. I feel like the material is thinner than previous shirts from the company.
