It’s hard to believe that Great American Ballpark is almost old enough to drink. Indeed, the Reds current home turned 20 this year. The Reds, and a few other area major league teams, have called many stadiums home since 1869. Here’s a brief rundown.
Lincoln Park Grounds/Union Grounds
Built for the Union Cricket Club in 1856, Lincoln Park, also known as Union Park, was located where Union Terminal stands today. In 1866, baseball was introduced at the park, with the sport’s first professional team using the field starting in 1869.
Avenue Grounds
Located in Camp Washington, about a block south of Valley Park, Avenue Grounds, was also known as Brighton Park and Cincinnati Baseball Park. It was the Red Stockings home from 1876 to 1879. That team ceased operations at the end of the 1879 season.
Bank Street Grounds 1881-1883
A new baseball team was formed for the 1880 season called the Stars, but they played their home games at Bank Street Grounds on the site of the old Lincoln Park/Union Grounds. In 1882, a new Red Stockings team, members of the American Association, played at Bank Street Grounds. That Red Stockings team was forced out when the Cincinnati Outlaw Reds of the new Union Association took over the lease.

League Park 1884-1901
The Red Stockings moved a few blocks north and into League Park, at the corner of Western and Findlay, the future site of Crosley Field. That iconic field was two stadiums away, though. League Park was renovated in time for the start of the 1894 season.
Pendleton Park/East End Park
This ballpark, located in the East End where the Schmidt Ball Fields are today, was almost home to the Red Stockings. Shortly after the renovated League Park opened in 1894, a fire destroyed part of the grandstand, and the club thought about moving to Pendleton Park, which was used by the American Association’s Kelly’s Killers a few years earlier. However, its remote location was deemed impractical. The team instead quickly repaired League Park and used it until 1901.

Palace of the Fans 1902-1911
Another fire, this one in 1900, caused catastrophic damage to the League Park grandstand, necessitating an extensive rebuild. The new grandstand was so opulent the team’s owners renamed League Park the Palace of the Fans starting with the 1901 season. On the last day of the 1911 season, disaster struck again as, you may have guessed, a fire destroyed most of the main grandstand.

Redland Field/Crosley Field (1912-1970)
By opening day 1912, the Reds had an entirely new ballpark at Western and Findlay. The new stadium was named Redland Field. It was the third concrete and steel ballpark in the National League and would be the Reds’ home for the next 58 years. It was also home to four Negor league teams, beginning with the Cuban Stars in 1921, followed by the Tigers (1937), the Buckeyes (1942), and the Clowns (1943-45).
In 1934, the stadium’s name was changed to Crosley Field in honor of the team’s new owner, industrial and broadcast magnate Powel Crosley Jr. In 1935, the Reds hosted the first night game in Major League Baseball history.
Riverfront Stadium (1970-2002)
As early as the 1940s, the idea of a ballpark on the river downtown was proposed. The 1948 Master Plan for Cincinnati showed a ballpark just west of the Roebling Suspension bridge. However, the idea didn’t gain traction until the early 1960s when it was rumored the Reds were going to move to New York City.
Parking limitations and other issues had rendered Crosley Field obsolete. A new ballpark was needed, but plans moved slowly. It wasn’t until the opportunity to bring pro football to town emerged that city and state officials took the project seriously. On June 30, 1970, the Reds moved into the sleek, new Riverfront Stadium, a facility they shared with the city’s pro football team, the Bengals.

Great American Ballpark (2003-present)
The two teams were roomies for two decades before both started grumbling about wanting their own stadiums. The Bengals wanted to remain on the riverfront. It was proposed by some the Reds’ ballpark be built on the land that is now occupied by the Hard Rock Casino. The riverfront won out for both, though. The Bengals moved into their new crib in 2000, while the Reds played their first game in Great American Ballpark on March 31, 2003.

Hi guys, my name is Sarah Flower, I ended my marriage in 2024 due to suffering from domestic abuse at the hands of my husband. Currently, he is trying to reconcile with me after finding out that I won a Jackpot Lottery Prize of $96 million. Fortunately, I received assistance online from Lord Meduza, the great spell caster who has successfully aided many individuals worldwide in winning the lottery. I reached out to him about my circumstances and expressed my desire to win the lottery. After casting the spell, he provided me with the exact numbers to play. Now, my husband wants me back, fully aware of my $96 million lottery win, but I told him no; I will not return to him. I am incredibly grateful to Lord Meduza, and if you find yourself facing a tough situation, I recommend that you reach out to him as he’s the best in his field. You can contact him through his Email: lordmeduzatemple@hotmail.com or WhatsApp: +1 807 907 2687.
Good luck guys.

When investing in cryptocurrencies, one must exercise extreme caution. My capital investment was locked along with all of my returns at a binary investment firm, which was the exact issue I was having. Though I genuinely thought there are legitimate businesses you can invest in, the difficulty is how to know for sure before making a decision. It was almost like watching a movie as the whole thing played out for me when I fell for these con artists posing as investors. Before it happened to me, I was unable to believe that such things exist. But when it turned out that I couldn’t withdraw my money, I started looking for a way to get it back. Fortunately, through recommendations from others, I was introduced to a recovery expert named Fastfund Recovery. When I discovered that the scammers’ website had been taken down, Fastfund Recovery was such a lifesaver; they were able to access it and helped me get my money back. I can’t be more grateful. I was still in college when I met my fiancé. We dated for quite a long time and cohabited and our relationship was approved by our parents. We got along and everything was perfect. He traveled out for some training and since then everything never became good for us again. He was seeing a lady over there and he tends to have committed much to what they shared and left me out the picture. I did all I can to fix the problem but nothing worked until I heard about Dr Isikolo. I contacted him and explained what I was going through and he promised to help which he did as promised. I complied with the instructions he gave me and he fixed the problem I had with my fiancé and now he’s back to me and we are getting married in a month. All thanks to Dr Isikolo. Contact him now if you need any help. Review his page https://isikolo-temple.com or text him on WhatsApp via +2348133261196

I saw an opportunity to invest in cryptocurrency about two months ago and I took my chance. I contacted a broker who I saw videos on youtube and I invested a huge sum of money around £665,211 which was deposited using Bitcoin with hopes to gain massive returns on my investment. I kept tracking my portfolio and it was increasing daily on the website. It made me excited and confident. Fast forward to 30 Days after, which was supposed to be my payout date, I tried to make a withdrawal as I needed money to foot my bills and buy my new house, but the broker insisted that I continue to invest or will have to pay some fees to withdraw my funds. That was very disappointing to hear, because it was all going smoothly when I deposited the funds. Eventually, I paid the fees which was about £45,800. I was desperate now because according to my portfolio, I had made about £1,512,400. Now you see why I was willing to pay the fees. It turned out it was a scheme to keep asking me for more money for one thing or the other, like Taxes, miner fees and so many others. I declined, and instead I won’t pay more. They locked my account for several weeks. A month after, I saw a post on Quora about CYBER SPACE HACK PRO which stated they were capable of getting my money recovered. With a little faith in me, I contacted them immediately, and discussed my situation, and sent all the information I had.
In less than a week, I was able to recoup my BTC. I praise the universe for sending them my way. I wish to recommend them to everyone out there. they are capable of recover any crypto coins Bitcoin, Usdt ,Eth, Dogecoin, now i have my funds back with there guidelines and skills you can always contact them via.
