Jim Sheets was the attorney for Sam the Chimp. Actually, he was hired by Sam’s owner, Kenny Harris, who also owned the Train Stop Inn and Cafe in what used to be called Foster. The bar is just east of Landen on the bike trail and today is called the Monkey Cafe. Kenny and Sam found themselves in some legal trouble brought on by the Humane Society and Jim represented them.
