You read that right! Derek Dietrich is doing his first meet and greet in Cincinnati, and it's being held at Cincy Shirts Hyde Park on Monday, June 17th from 12 PM - 1 PM.
In order to save your spot in line, you must receive a golden ticket. There are only 125 golden tickets available. 1 Golden Ticket per person. Multiple people/family members can jump in a photo. 1 Golden Ticket = 1 autograph and photo.
Derek is also asking for donations on the day of the event. It is not required but suggested that with a photo and autograph, you make a $20 donation to the Best Buddies of Ohio. This is not included in the golden ticket, so please bring cash. If you don't have cash you can make a credit card donation at the cash register. Whatever we raise during this event, Derek himself will match and give to Best Buddies of Ohio.
How do you get a Golden Ticket?
Simply stop by our Hyde Park store starting this Friday and purchase any Derek Dietrich T-shirt. Hyde Park will be stocked with all three Derek Dietrich shirts including his limited edition #DD2ASG campaign tee. The first 125 people to purchase any DD tee will receive 1 golden ticket and this is only valid at our Hyde Park store location from Friday, June 14th through Sunday, June 16th or while tickets last.
Please note, DD shirts purchased from us earlier this year will not count towards your Golden Ticket. To receive a golden Ticket, you must purchase a DD shirt. The whole point is to raise as much money as we can for Best Buddies.
At time of purchase, you will be given your Golden Ticket which grants you access to the signing. Only one ticket will be issued per customer and you CANNOT buy tickets for other people. Remember, a group or a family is granted access with 1 ticket, but no more than six (6) are allowed in a group. Tickets purchased MUST be brought to the event to gain admittance.
Before the event, the line form starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 17th outside our Hyde Park store. Just look for signage on where to stand. We will not allow anyone to wait inside the store as the store will be open for regular customers two hours before the event. If you want to shop in-store, feel free to use your 15% off discount that will be on your Golden Ticket, but you will lose your place in line. Also, the number on your ticket is not your place in line, the line will be sorted on a first-come, first served basis.
During the event, you will not be able to take a photo on any personal devices. We will have a camera set up and at the end of the event, we will be contacting everyone via email with a link to download their personal photo. We are doing this so we can have Derek meet as many fans as possible in the time he will be there. We will be taking one photo per ticket, so everyone in your group will be included in that single photo.
We will also have FREE 8x10 photos of Derek that you can use have him sign during the event. Remember he can only sign one autograph per Golden Ticket so please choose your autographed item wisely!
