East, northeast of Cincinnati, along I-275, sits the community of Milford, Ohio. A mix of early 20th-century smalltown America and post-World War II suburbia, Milford is home to nearly 7,000 people. Here are seven fun facts about the town:
It was founded the same year Cincinnati was established
Milford’s first resident was the Rev. Francis McCormick, a Revolutionary War soldier who had obtained a thousand-acre land grant in 1796. He built a log cabin on the hill that today is 1000 Forest Avenue. The town was laid out in 1806 after the area was divided into townships. However, while most of Milford is in Clermont County, a little nub of it, which includes Jim Terrell Park along the Little Miami River, is in Hamilton County.
It’s an important historic center for the Methodist faith
In 1797 the right Reverend McCormick founded the first Methodist Class in the Northwest Territory. As such, Milford is at the root of Methodist religious heritage west of the Appalachians.
It’s named for two things
The village was originally called Hageman’s Mills, named after John Hageman, the man who laid out the village. In 1811, after Hageman moved to Indiana, the name Milford came into wider use, with the local newspaper adopting the name shortly thereafter. The name comes from the several mills that were in operation in the area as well as the fact that it was the first safe place north of the Ohio River to ford the Little Miami.
It has ancient Native American earthworks
While Ft. Ancient, Newtown, Mariemont, and nearby Serpent Mound in Adams County are well known for their Native American earthworks, it turns out Milford as a huge effigy mound located south of Rt. 50 and just to the west of Greenlawn Cemetery (below). It’s unclear what the purpose of this particular effigy was, but archaeologists suspect it had something to do with the solar cycle and that it was constructed during the Woodland Period (1000 BC to 1000 AD).
It was supposed to be the “future metropolis of the West.”
The area was first surveyed in 1788 by John Nancarrow. He felt it could become “the great metropolis of the West.” However, Losantiville, later renamed Cincinnati, became the region’s big city, eventually, thanks to its location on the Ohio River, across from the mouth of the Licking River.
It’s home to one of the area’s first “modern” shopping centers
Though it had long been a quaint village, Milford took the first steps towards becoming a post-World War II suburb when in 1956, the Gallenstein Brothers opened the Milford Shopping Center on Lila Ave. The plaza still welcomes shoppers to this day.
The Milford Parkway was supposed to be the Route 50 by-pass
When you exit I-275 near the River’s Edge shopping center, it looks like you’re getting onto another expressway, only to merge down to a two-lane road that takes you to a group of stores and restaurants. Originally, though, that road was supposed to be an expressway that was to bypass Milford, running from the east end of that interchange and rejoining Route 50 on the other side of the Little Miami River around the Terrace Park/Milford border. Hello, Please everyone should be careful and stop being deceived by all these brokers and account managers, they scammed me over $265,000 of my investment capital, and they kept on requesting extra funds before a withdrawal request can be accepted and processed, in the end, I lost all my money. All efforts to reach out to their customer support desk had declined, and I found it very hard to move on. God so kind I followed a broadcast that teaches how scammed victims can recover their funds, I contacted a recovery company known as SPYHOST CYBER SECURITY COMPANY . They are such a very good company as they are so reliable, transparent, skilled and responsive. I contacted them and I got feedback after some hours as I was asked to provide all legal details concerning my investment, I did exactly what they instructed me to do without delay, to my greatest surprise I was able to recover 80% of my money back. I said I will not hold this to myself but share it with the public so that all scammed victims can get their funds back. Anyways, just incase you are going through such plight, do not hesitate to reach them via;

My process for recovery has been kind of a bumpy process because of the fake recovery agents I encountered. However with the support given to me by RIGHT WAY LAW RECOVERY SERVICES, I have collectively succeeded in recouping my locked up BTC Assets valued at $326,790 within the space of 48 hours !! Or rather the team worked hard on my behalf, I only had to provide them with a few details regarding my investment with the fraud company and they did the rest for me. Prior to meeting RIGHT WAY LAW RECOVERY FIRM, I had met a few recovery agents as well, that only seemed to care about their service fee similar to what the fraud company was doing to me and at some point I almost gave up the believe that I would ever get back my money but today I’ve done full circle to come back here and give my own thankful review since I learnt about the team through the many reviews on here. I feel ready to take on the world with my new found awareness and RIGHT WAY LAW RECOVERY on my team! … I wish they would create more awareness platforms and opportunities to help enlighten more people about crypto and how best to navigate the digital financial landscape, this will surely help to reduce the fast spreading fraudulent activities going on here & there and save potential investors from falling prey!. Glad I know it now and I can teach it to my children so they wont make the same mistakes I did. You can also contact them via their official Email address: RIGHTWAYLAWRECOVERYSERVICE@GMAIL (.) COM or

I was so impatient to carry out some necessary research about crypto training and investing buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 65,000 GBP worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 240,000 GBP within a couple of weeks.
But I didn’t realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and notice my account suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recover my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online research, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptocurrency funds with help of rightwaylawrecoveryservice@gmail.com
So I file a report and they were able to help me get back all my lost funds within 24hrs. Am indebted to them, apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium to recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary option forex, investment and any other form of online scam, reach out on
