The Beastie

Originally named the Scooby-Doo, this ride was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan company to be a proper, but kid-size, roller coaster. In 1980, it was renamed the Beastie, inspired by the park's popular and iconic full-size coaster that opened in 1979. In 2006, to go along with the Nickelodeon theming of the children's area, it was renamed theƒ€š‚ Fairly Odd Coaster.ƒ€š‚ When Cedar Fair bought the park, it re-themed the area in a Peanuts motif, renaming the coaster the Woodstock Express. We say, "bring back the Beastie!"
