The Cincy Shirts Podcast Episode 136: Beech Acres

Its roots go back to the mid-19th century with the founding of the General Protestant Orphan Home in Mt. Auburn. It moved to its current location in the mid-1940s and was renamed Beech Acres in honor of the plethora of Beech trees on the new property in Anderson Township. They got out of the orphan business in the 1980s and have since become more involved in foster care as well as being a resource for parents and educators, which makes up the bulk of their efforts today. Emily Scharfenberger and Corey Hatfield fill us in from soup to nuts.
