Dann Woellert, chili historian, is our guest. Can you believe it took us to Episode 119 to talk about the history of Cincinnati chili? We did have Roger David, CEO of Gold Star, on Episode 55, but now we get a detailed overview courtesy of Dann, who wrote the book on Cincinnati chili; literally. The Authentic History of Cincinnati Chili, published in 2012. Also tells us about other food topics he’s written on, including, candy, and old restaurants.

Hello. I had a suggestion for the podcast. Since the podcast is all about Cincinnati, how about Megan Mitchell from WLWT. Based on some articles about her and her on WLWT, she seems to love the city.
