Skyline Chili was established in 1949 by Greek immigrant Nicholas Lambrinides. The first location in Price Hill offered a wonderful panoramic view of downtown Cincinnati, which inspired the restaurant's name. It has literally become synonymous with Cincinnati-style chili, as many folks around the country refer to the unique local dish as simply "Skyline."
