Riverfront Coliseum, today known as Heritage Bank Center, was completed in 1975 and was home to the
Cincinnati Stingers hockey team of the
World Hockey Association, and later the Tigers who played one season in the Central Hockey League. Its current main tenant is the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League. Indoor soccer teams the
Kids and
Athletic Greybacks called it home as did indoor football teams the
Rockers, Marshals, and
Jungle Kats. When it opened, the arena had a members-only area called the
Beehive Club.
