A unique player on and off the field, Danny Graves was born in Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam in 1973 to a Vietnamese mother and an American serviceman father. He remains the only Vietnamese-born player in the history of Major League Baseball (MLB). He began his MLB career with the Cleveland Indians, who drafted him in 1994. He was traded to the Reds in July 1997, and spent the next eight years in the Queen City. Nicknamed "The Baby-faced Assassin," he became a fan favorite. He is the all-time leader in "Saves" for the Cincinnati Reds.
