In Ohio folklore, the Loveland frogman is a legendary humanoid frog described as standing roughly 4 feet tall roaming through the city of Loveland, Ohio. The first sighting dates back to 1955 when a local man reported seeing three froglike men on the side of the road. Then in 1972, a police officer claimed to have seen a similar creature on a bridge in the city.
Then it seemed that the frogman went into hiding, as reports had not been made for decades after the 1972 sighting. That was until the Pokemon Go phase swept Loveland in 2016. Two teenagers were playing the game between Loveland Madeira Road and Lake Isabella and reported to have seen a giant frog near the lake which "stood up and walked on its hind legs." That can only mean the frogman is still out there....
