QUBE Cable TV

CINC-10168-S

Shortly after cable TV began to expand across the U.S., Warner Communications (later Warner-AMEX), one of the biggest cable providers, introduced QUBE in Columbus, Ohio in 1977.ƒ€š‚ QUBEƒ€š‚ was an experimental, two-way, multi-programmedƒ€š‚ system that played a significant role in the development of Americanƒ€š‚ interactive television. It was gradually rolled out in other cities, including Cincinnati in the early '80s but financial losses and privacy concerns led to the system's demise in 1984.
