Jim Shelton, better known as "Peanut" Jim, sold peanuts at Crosley Field, and later at Riverfront Stadium, before Reds games. He wore a silk hat, tuxedo, and bow tie while selling hawking the snacks. Following his death in 1982, Jim Tarbell, then owner of Arnold's Bar, bought Peanut Jim's cart and it has been on display in Cincinnati's oldest bar ever since.
