Glier's Goetta Fabulous

It all started in 1946 when Robert Glier, just home from the war, opened a small shop in Covington that had a sausage kitchen smokehouse. In the winter months Robert made his version of a long-celebrated regional dish consisting of pork, beef, steel-cut oats, and seasoning. Glier's has been making the area's premiere goetta ever since.
