It’s hard to believe that Great American Ballpark is almost old enough to drink. Indeed, the Reds current home turned 20 this year. The Reds, and a few other area major league teams, have called many stadiums home since 1869. Here’s a brief rundown.
Lincoln Park Grounds/Union Grounds
Built for the Union Cricket Club in 1856, Lincoln Park, also known as Union Park, was located where Union Terminal stands today. In 1866, baseball was introduced at the park, with the sport’s first professional team using the field starting in 1869.
Avenue Grounds
Located in Camp Washington, about a block south of Valley Park, Avenue Grounds, was also known as Brighton Park and Cincinnati Baseball Park. It was the Red Stockings home from 1876 to 1879. That team ceased operations at the end of the 1879 season.
Bank Street Grounds 1881-1883
A new baseball team was formed for the 1880 season called the Stars, but they played their home games at Bank Street Grounds on the site of the old Lincoln Park/Union Grounds. In 1882, a new Red Stockings team, members of the American Association, played at Bank Street Grounds. That Red Stockings team was forced out when the Cincinnati Outlaw Reds of the new Union Association took over the lease.

League Park 1884-1901
The Red Stockings moved a few blocks north and into League Park, at the corner of Western and Findlay, the future site of Crosley Field. That iconic field was two stadiums away, though. League Park was renovated in time for the start of the 1894 season.
Pendleton Park/East End Park
This ballpark, located in the East End where the Schmidt Ball Fields are today, was almost home to the Red Stockings. Shortly after the renovated League Park opened in 1894, a fire destroyed part of the grandstand, and the club thought about moving to Pendleton Park, which was used by the American Association’s Kelly’s Killers a few years earlier. However, its remote location was deemed impractical. The team instead quickly repaired League Park and used it until 1901.

Palace of the Fans 1902-1911
Another fire, this one in 1900, caused catastrophic damage to the League Park grandstand, necessitating an extensive rebuild. The new grandstand was so opulent the team’s owners renamed League Park the Palace of the Fans starting with the 1901 season. On the last day of the 1911 season, disaster struck again as, you may have guessed, a fire destroyed most of the main grandstand.

Redland Field/Crosley Field (1912-1970)
By opening day 1912, the Reds had an entirely new ballpark at Western and Findlay. The new stadium was named Redland Field. It was the third concrete and steel ballpark in the National League and would be the Reds’ home for the next 58 years. It was also home to four Negor league teams, beginning with the Cuban Stars in 1921, followed by the Tigers (1937), the Buckeyes (1942), and the Clowns (1943-45).
In 1934, the stadium’s name was changed to Crosley Field in honor of the team’s new owner, industrial and broadcast magnate Powel Crosley Jr. In 1935, the Reds hosted the first night game in Major League Baseball history.
Riverfront Stadium (1970-2002)
As early as the 1940s, the idea of a ballpark on the river downtown was proposed. The 1948 Master Plan for Cincinnati showed a ballpark just west of the Roebling Suspension bridge. However, the idea didn’t gain traction until the early 1960s when it was rumored the Reds were going to move to New York City.
Parking limitations and other issues had rendered Crosley Field obsolete. A new ballpark was needed, but plans moved slowly. It wasn’t until the opportunity to bring pro football to town emerged that city and state officials took the project seriously. On June 30, 1970, the Reds moved into the sleek, new Riverfront Stadium, a facility they shared with the city’s pro football team, the Bengals.

Great American Ballpark (2003-present)
The two teams were roomies for two decades before both started grumbling about wanting their own stadiums. The Bengals wanted to remain on the riverfront. It was proposed by some the Reds’ ballpark be built on the land that is now occupied by the Hard Rock Casino. The riverfront won out for both, though. The Bengals moved into their new crib in 2000, while the Reds played their first game in Great American Ballpark on March 31, 2003.

Hello,
I want to share my experience to warn others about a serious investment scam I fell victim to. Like many others, I was searching for a reliable platform to invest a significant amount of money. After some research, I decided to commit over half a million dollars to what appeared to be a legitimate opportunity. Sadly, it turned out to be a nightmare.
After making my deposit, I found myself unable to access my funds. My account was locked, and when I contacted customer support, they demanded an additional fee to “unfreeze” the account. It quickly became clear this was another layer of the scam. They refused to release any of my funds unless I complied with their demands for more money. That’s when I realized I had been targeted by a fraudulent investment platform.
Losing such a substantial amount was devastating. However, I refused to give up. A co-worker who had dealt with a similar issue recommended Digital Resolution Services. They had successfully helped him recover his lost funds, so I decided to give them a chance.
From the start, Digital Resolution Services was responsive and professional. They treated my case with urgency, began investigating immediately, and kept me updated throughout the process. Their dedication to recovering my money was evident, and after several weeks, I was relieved to receive most of my funds back. While not all the money was recovered, the portion I did receive was a tremendous relief.
I’m incredibly grateful for their expertise and persistence. For anyone facing a similar situation, I strongly recommend contacting a trusted recovery service like Digital Resolution Services. Recovering from a scam is challenging, but with the right help, there’s a chance to regain what’s been lost.

A Life-Changing Experience, Dr Kachi A Testimony of Gratitude
I would like to share an extraordinary experience that has transformed my life. I came across a remarkable testimony online forum about a powerful and renowned spell caster, Dr. Kachi. At the time, I was skeptical because I had never encountered anything related to magic or spell casting before. However, the story of Dr. Kachi’s work resonated with me, and I decided to give it a chance. For years, my family and I struggled financially, and despite my best efforts, I never had luck winning the lottery. I loved playing, but winning seemed impossible. Everything changed when I connected with Dr. Kachi, who provided me with a winning lottery number through a powerful spell. In just 24 hours, I was able to play the lottery and won the Lotto 6/49 prize, a remarkable $68 million cash prize, on September 27th in the Gold Ball Draw. This incredible win has completely changed my life and the financial well-being of my entire family. After 10 years of trying unsuccessfully, I am now living my dream life. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Kachi for his assistance, Dr. Kachi has truly been a blessing to me and my loved ones. I encourage anyone who is interested to reach out to Dr. Kachi for guidance. his website https://drkachispellcaster.wixsite.com/my-site or email drkachispellcast@gmail.com. I owe “KARMA RECOVERY” my life for assisting with my case and delivering the save of the year on the 7th of Dec when they retrieved my frozen assets from an investment company that concentrates on trading digital assets or trading foreign currency or dollar-gold contracts (also known as “forex”). In cases like mine that involves digital assets, clueless of an imminent fraud we victims are asked to buy virtual currency and transfer it to the scammer’s digital wallet or to a fraudulent trading platform, while sometimes we are told to download their mobile apps and visit their forex trading websites. It’s almost heartbreaking when I recount the strenuous Months of hardwork and tight budget I Faced just to invest into this Forex Trading hoping it will change my life sooner or later. The money I earned working were all sent to an offshore company that manipulates the trading app & website to display winning trades and outsized returns, encouraging me at the time to keep going. “KARMA RECOVERY” explained it same way I experienced it and I bet it’s similar with your experience too, how we victims never realize we are being defrauded as we are encouraged to start small. Then these fraudsters would also walk us through a successful withdrawal process to demonstrate the fraudulent website can be trusted, Fully convinced, we victims are nudged to invest more, don’t let ignorance cost you all you’ve ever worked for because Investment fraud is a real and serious problem, and it happens more than you realize. The Internet’s wide reach and supposed anonymity are two attractive features for scam artists,I Plead with you all to not be tempted or fall for outlandish returns, particularly when returns are promised within weeks or months Because when it all came down to the early days of December. My once meager portfolio is now worth $250,000 and I had branched out into all sorts of speculative and risky investments with this investment company, going all in on the exhilarating combination of leverage plus risk. “You should sell out”, a college friend who had also jumped into the same fraudulent Forex Trading market with me texted, Only if we knew !. But I felt competitive and infallible. I’ll race you to a million, I wrote back. I doubt I’d be here today if i insisted on going ahead with that idea but luckily for me “KARMA RECOVERY” got to me on time to reverse a Christmas I could have celebrated on the streets. So this is how I got spooked of an impending Fraud, following my significant investments, on the 1st day of Christmas I decided to initiate a small withdrawal for Christmas but my request became impossible to complete.Suddenly, there are taxes, commissions, or fees that must be paid. Customer service problems are another common ploy. Typically, the only way to resolve matters is to increase the investment and any talk of withdrawing money gets pushback. In the wake of all this all I can say is while Investing your money is a great way to prepare for retirement and help your financial goals some investment opportunities are actually scams designed to steal investors money. It is essential that you know how to spot one before you give them your money or as you try to recover them,Send a detailed complaint email/text to “KARMA RECOVERY” now and the rest is history “KARMA RECOVERY” a name that send meaning to the Recovery World…
